To celebrate the university's receipt of the 2025 institutional accreditation certificate for a period of five years from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, received members of the university's accreditation team. He took a commemorative photo with them to celebrate the university's receipt of the institutional accreditation certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office. This historic achievement reflects the university's status and leadership among Egyptian universities.

The event was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Profe. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.

The university accreditation team included a select group of faculty staff and leaders who contributed their efforts to achieving this accomplishment, namely: Prof. Safinaz Adel Elhabashy, full-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for the university’s institutional accreditation file and team leader; Prof. Miriam Ayad, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center; Prof. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the Development of Educational Strategies and Research Center at the University; and two Vice Deans of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences: Prof. Rasha Ismail, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and Director of the Electronic Portal and University Management System; Prof. Hala Mushir, Vice Dean for Education and Students at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences ; Prof. Hend Asaad, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Al- Alsun; Prof. Dina Lashin, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Mohamed Hamed, Director of the Strategic Planning Unit at the Quality Assurance Center; Prof. Asst. Dr. Sayed Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Director of the Training Unit at the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the University; and Dr. Nada El-Askary, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.

The President of Ain Shams University expressed his pride and appreciation for this historic achievement, which is the culmination of the university’s continuous efforts over many years. He emphasized that obtaining institutional accreditation embodies the university’s commitment to quality standards and academic excellence, and reflects the spirit of integration and cooperation among all members of the university, including faculty staff, teaching assistants, administrators, and students.

The University President also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this success, commending the outstanding performance of the accreditation team and their dedicated efforts that helped the University achieve this accomplishment. He noted that this accreditation does not represent the end of the road, but rather a new beginning for a greater push toward development and advancement. He emphasized that the University will continue its journey to enhance its position locally, regionally, and internationally, in a manner befitting its distinguished history and future vision.
