The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research urges all students in the first phase of admission coordination at public universities and institutes to quickly register their preferences on the electronic coordination website and not wait until the final moments of the phase.
Dr. Gouda Ghanem, Head of the Education Sector and Supervisor of the Admission Coordination Office at Public Universities and Institutes, explained that failure to register their preferences during the period allocated for the first phase will result in the student losing out on the competition for available places in this phase. Students will then be coordinated for the remaining places in the second phase, forcing them to choose a major that does not align with their aspirations.
Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, emphasized the importance of students adhering to the announced timetable for the first phase, which is scheduled to end at 7:00 PM next Saturday. He noted that the electronic coordination website operates 24/7 and can be accessed، click here
The spokesperson also indicated that technical support would continue to be provided to students through the computer labs available at public universities to help them register their preferences in a correct and secure manner.
