On this occasion, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the University Awards Office extend their sincere congratulations to the faculty and support staff who won the 2025 State Awards. 🏆Dr. Marwa Mustafa El-Sayed Amin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Languages, Ain Shams University, won the 2025 State Encouragement Award in the field of Literature - Linguistics Computing, for her work entitled: "Functions of the Electronic Dictionary: An Applied Study of the Daleel Al-Ma'ani and Al-Riyadh Dictionaries." This work represents a distinguished addition to the field of linguistics computing, as the researcher in-depth explores the functions of electronic dictionaries through an applied analysis that highlights the importance of integrating digital technologies in developing Arabic language tools and enhancing their use in the modern digital environment.
🏆Dr. Sherif Ahmed Imam Ahmed (Sherif Imam), Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, won the 2025 State Encouragement Award in the field of Social Sciences - History, Archaeology, and Heritage Preservation - for his distinguished research work entitled "Saad Zaghloul in Gramsci's Mirror: A New Reading of the 1919 Mass Movement." This work is an in-depth analytical reading of the mass movement in the 1919 Revolution from a modern intellectual perspective, based on Antonio Gramsci's concepts, opening new horizons for understanding popular interaction and national leadership at a pivotal moment in Egyptian history.
🏆Dr. Ahmed Magdy, Lecturer of Drama and Theater Criticism at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, won the 2025 State Encouragement Award in the field of Social Sciences - Digital Culture and Artificial Intelligence - for his research "How Artificial Intelligence Has Changed the Film Industry?" This research combines the arts and digital culture, exploring tools and methods for developing the film industry across various stages of production using artificial intelligence.

Sausana Sayed Mohamed El-Sayed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oriental and Islamic Languages at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, won the 2025 State Encouragement Award in the field of Literature - Translation from Asian and African Languages into Arabic - for her translated work, "A Strange Woman." This work embodies a distinguished effort in conveying Asian and African cultures to the Arab reader, using a solid linguistic style that reflects a deep understanding of both the source and target languages.
