Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research at Ain Shams University, hosted the regular meeting of the Supreme Committee of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Board. The meeting was attended by Prof. Osama Ahmed Badari, Chair of the Committee; Prof. Ghada Ahmed Abdel Bary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development at Cairo University; Prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University; Prof. Ayman Gamal El-Din, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University; Prof. Ahmed Laila, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Medical Professions Company; and Prof. Dalia Abu Hussein, Professor and Director General of Quality Assurance at the Egyptian Drug Authority and Committee Rapporteur.

Prof. Lamia El-Wakil, Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University; Professor Dr. Mona Shaalan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University; and Professor Dr. Naglaa Bazan, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at Kasr El-Aini Hospital. Participating online were Professor Dr. Mohamed Mohie Atta El-Mazar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the British University in Egypt, and Professor Dr. Walaa Hamidou, Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Theodor Bilharz Institute. The Health Council was represented by Dr. Heba Youssef, member of the Technical Office, and Professor Amr Mohamed Abdel Gawad, member of the Committees Secretariat.
The framework of reference was approved, and several clinical pharmacy specialties were introduced within the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Board. Attendees praised the generous invitation, warm hospitality, and warm welcome.
Prof. Amany Osama Kamel expressed her appreciation for the active participation of the attendees, emphasizing that integration between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical sector represents the cornerstone of developing the pharmaceutical system in Egypt.
For his part, Prof. Osama Ahmed Badari, Chair of the Pharmaceutical Board Committee, thanked Dr. Amany Osama Kamel for her kind invitation and reviewed the meeting agenda. The minutes of the previous Board Committee meeting were also presented and approved by the members.
It should be noted that the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Board is a training program and professional certification awarded by the Egyptian Health Council. It aims to develop pharmacists' skills and raise their level of competence in various pharmaceutical specialties, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare and providing distinguished pharmaceutical services.
