In a step that reflects the leading position of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University both regionally and internationally, the faculty has officially obtained three internationally accredited ISO certifications. These include ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 21001 for Educational Organizations Management Systems, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems.

This achievement crowns a comprehensive development journey and a strategic vision led by the tireless efforts of Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, whose pivotal role supported the path toward institutional excellence and the continuous application of international standards in both academic and administrative performance.

These certifications have been officially documented on the global platform of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) via the IAF CertSearch system, the internationally recognized platform for verifying official certifications. This grants the faculty internationally verified recognition for the quality of its educational, administrative, and environmental systems.

The ISO certifications stand among the most prominent indicators of institutional excellence. ISO 9001 reflects the faculty’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and efficiency in service provision; ISO 21001 demonstrates the alignment of its educational processes with the needs of students and stakeholders; and ISO 14001 affirms the institution’s dedication to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

This milestone coincides with the faculty’s preparations to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee, marking 75 years since its establishment of academic distinction that spans decades and has contributed to shaping generations of thinkers, researchers, and creatives.

Throughout its history, the faculty has produced pioneers across various fields, literature, culture, psychology, sociology, linguistics, and the arts, who have enriched the scientific and cultural landscape of Egypt and the Arab world.
