In an atmosphere of joy and happiness, the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood at Ain Shams University and the Center for People with Special Needs organized a celebration on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, in cooperation with the "Fun Team" for social activities at the center.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and in the presence of Prof. Howayda El-Gebali, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ahmed El-Kahky, Director of the Center, and a group of specialists, children from the Special Needs Center and their families. The "Fun Team" presented a variety of social activities, including puppet shows, quiz competitions, interactive Eid singing, artistic workshops for making Eid decorations, and group movement games that develop skills, in addition to distributing gifts and presenting entertainment segments and competitions.
The activities included an educational segment simulating the Hajj rituals. A miniature Kaaba was designed, and simplified Tawaf and Sa'i activities were implemented, suitable for children. The rituals of Hajj and Eid celebrations were explained, along with an explanation of the rituals and ceremonies of Eid.

In her speech, Prof. Howayda Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty, welcomed the children and their parents, expressing her happiness at sharing these joyful moments with them. She expressed her happiness at this heartfelt celebration of heroes with disabilities who embody the power of will and defiance, inspiring others with their spirit that transcends all circumstances. She described children as the ones who make a difference in our society, and their presence brings light, love, and hope to the Eid. The Dean of the Faculty affirmed her commitment to creating an inclusive environment that celebrates their excellence, wishing them "a holiday filled with joy and success."
Prof. Howayda El-Gebali affirmed the faculty and center's commitment to supporting and empowering children and integrating them into society. She praised the volunteer efforts of the "Fun Team" in bringing smiles to the faces of young children.
She also commended the efforts of the faculty's specialists who provide special care for children, considering these activities a fundamental pillar of the faculty and university's societal and humanitarian role, reinforcing the values of solidarity and joy on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Al-Kahki explained that the celebration falls within the framework of the center's integrated program aimed at providing comprehensive psychological and social care. He expressed his happiness at the children's joy, which culminated in the organizers' efforts.
The day concluded with the bright faces of the children and their families, fulfilling the faculty's mission of integrating all members of society into diverse events in an atmosphere of equality and mutual respect.
