As part of the distinguished student activities and fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ain Shams University, the Rovers and Public Service Committee of the General Administration of Youth Welfare Office at the university participated in the closing meeting of the activities of the Scout Training Centers at Egyptian universities.

The Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, hosted the meeting from May 11 to 14, 2025, with the participation of male and female Scouts from Egyptian universities. The meeting aimed to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation among Egyptian university youth who are enthusiasts of the Scouting movement.
The meeting program included a variety of Scouting competitions, including the construction of a multi-use Scouting model, judging panel competitions, and art competitions that included poster preparation, an artwork production workshop, and distinctive Scouting performances.

It is worth noting that the Ain Shams University Scouts and Public Service Committee implemented several distinguished student activities at the Scout Training Center during the 2024/2025 academic year, which contributed to preparing and qualifying students for effective participation in this final meeting. These activities included:
* A skills refinement course for Scouts: Held at the university's permanent Scout Camp at the Faculty of Agriculture from November 28 to 30, 2024.
* A competitive cultural workshop: Held at the university's permanent Scout Camp at the Faculty of Agriculture from April 22 to 24, 2025.
* A basic formal study to qualify assistant Scout unit leaders (guards): Held at the Sea Scouts Association from April 30 to May 3, 2025.
* Participation in the closing meeting of the Scout Training Center: at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, from May 11 to 14, 2025.
* Community Development Project: Scheduled to be implemented on May 17, 2025, at the Charity Participation House. The project aims to educate beneficiaries and provide them with handicrafts.
This forum generally aims to strengthen the role of the Scouting movement within Egyptian universities, develop the life skills of youth, promote the values of loyalty and belonging to the nation, and instill the values of peace and love among all participants.
Ten scouts from Ain Shams University participated in the closing meeting, under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Sector - General Administration of Youth Welfare Office and the University Scout Department.
