The British Council conducts a pilot test in the halls of the Faculty of Al-Alsun

The British Council in Cairo conducted a pilot test in the electronic exam halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, as part of the final preparations to host the official exams of the British Council in Cairo in the Faculty halls, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and coordinated by Dr. Hanan Al-Saeed, Director of Blended Education at the University.

The procedures were carried out in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Network and Information Technology Center, in the presence of the Information Technology Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, led by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah.

Today, the Faculty, in cooperation with the British Council and in the presence of its representatives, conducted a pilot test to ensure the readiness of the halls and all procedures before holding the first IELTS exam in the Faculty next July 23, within the framework of the protocol signed between the university and the British Council and in accordance with the official announcement of the British Council in Cairo via its official website. The trial exam was successfully completed without any notes.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, provided all the requirements for developing and modernizing the Faculty's infrastructure in accordance with the highest international educational quality standards, pointing to the role of the new classrooms and the importance of establishing the Faculty's electronic examination center in developing the educational process and raising the efficiency of educational capabilities available to Egyptian and foreign students.

In light of the development and leadership that Ain Shams University is witnessing in all fields, the British Council announced on its Facebook page that Ain Shams University joined to be one of the approved centers to perform the IELTS test in Egypt.

The British Council praised Ain Shams University and Faculty of Al-Alsun as one of the oldest and most prestigious colleges in the region, and the first test at Faculty of Al-Alsun is scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
