A joint cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Ambassador Khaled Rady, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, a joint cooperation protocol in a number of fields, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Ambassador Sherif Ismail, Deputy Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Neven Asim, Director of the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University, and Professor Muhammad Kasib, Second Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The protocol aims for joint cooperation between the two sides in organizing and holding training courses, research and studies on topics of common interest, as well as the exchange of experts and professors in research and training activities, as well as the possibility of coordination and cooperation to hold conferences, scientific seminars and discussions on topics of common interest, in addition to the exchange of publications, bulletins and periodicals issued by both sides.

     
     

In his speech during the protocol signing ceremony, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Matini, the role of the Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in providing qualified cadres and a well-prepared generation capable of serving national interests in light of the current challenges.

For his part, Ambassador Khaled Rady praised the efforts of Ain Shams University as an educational institution with an international reputation, stressing that the advancement of the human element is a common goal that we work together to achieve.

This was followed by a tour of the Saffron Palace to learn about the ancient history of the monument, which dates back to the era of Khedive Ismail.
