The Faculty of Dentistry: Early Diagnosis Is the Key to Treating Most Dental Problems
The Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University has affirmed that most dental problems, including tooth decay, fractures, gaps, and discoloration, can now be successfully treated using advanced cosmetic dentistry and dental implant technologies. The faculty noted that the belief that a smile cannot be restored or that certain dental conditions are untreatable is among the most common misconceptions.
The faculty explained that successful treatment primarily depends on an accurate diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan tailored to each patient, with every stage of the treatment process clearly explained to ensure the best possible outcomes under the supervision of distinguished faculty members across various dental specialties.
It also stressed the importance of seeking timely treatment for dental problems, warning that delaying treatment may negatively affect the jawbone and adjacent teeth, making treatment more complex.
The faculty further recommended regular dental check-ups every six months, emphasizing their role in detecting oral health problems at an early stage, when they can be treated more easily and effectively.
In addition, the faculty announced that its Distinguished Treatment Unit continues to provide specialized services in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. It confirmed that discounted treatment services will remain available through the end of August, inviting patients to book appointments and benefit from these services.
