Ain Shams University Launches STEP Up Project to Equip Students and Graduates with Future Skills through Micro-Credentials

As part of Ain Shams University's strategy to enhance students' and graduates' readiness for the labor market and develop future skills aligned with the demands of digital transformation and the knowledge-based economy, the University is launching the STEP Up project. The initiative offers complementary learning pathways and accredited Micro-Credentials, designed in accordance with the latest international standards, to equip participants with the competencies needed to compete successfully in local, regional, and international labor markets.

The project is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, 7 July, at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (iHub) at Ain Shams University, in the presence of a distinguished group of experts and partners engaged in advancing education and capacity building.

The project offers a diverse range of learning pathways designed to meet the needs of emerging and future-oriented sectors, including:

Financial Technology (FinTech)

Smart Technology (SmartTech)

Geospatial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (GeoSUSTAIN)

Digital Media Content Creation

English for Teaching Science and Mathematics

International Teacher Preparation

Legal Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

The project is designed for Ain Shams University students and graduates, as well as professionals seeking to advance their career paths. Through flexible learning programs focused on practical skills and applied experience, the initiative aims to enhance participants' employability and enable them to keep pace with the rapidly evolving demands of the labor market.
