Professor Konstantinos Kailliris taught Anglo-American Law to first-year students in English on Monday and Wednesday of last week, totaling six hours of instruction divided into two three-hour lectures. The lectures covered Precedent Law Theory as a cornerstone of the British legal system. The second lecture was interactive and practical, training students in summarizing legal cases and extracting principles from case law. This was achieved by dividing them into groups to work on and analyze a real-life case, providing a learning experience that mirrored the interactive legal studies methods used at the University of Essex.

Professor Etienne Durand taught International Environmental Law to second-year students last Sunday and Tuesday, totaling six teaching hours. The lectures adopted an interactive, research-based approach, presenting students with a series of research questions and requiring them to consult specific sources to arrive at the answers. This fostered a unique learning experience that emphasized critical thinking and deduction. The lectures also included dividing students into groups to present the case under study as legal arguments, providing them with a practical opportunity to enhance their analytical, presentation, and teamwork skills.

This initiative reflects the Faculty's ongoing efforts to develop its academic programs and expand international academic collaborations. It aims to provide a modern educational experience that combines theoretical study with practical application, employing the latest legal education methods. This is supported and overseen by the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty of Law, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office, and Dr. Basma Adel El-Sen, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, thus strengthening the effectiveness of international academic partnerships.
