Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Affairs at Ain Shams University, chaired the regular meeting of the sector council, during which she reviewed the university’s key activities and community efforts implemented across various governorates.

She opened the meeting by commending the success of the comprehensive development convoy in the areas of Halayeb and Shalateen, highlighting the strong turnout of local beneficiaries and praising the efforts of the participating faculties and centers. She also referred to the upcoming development convoy scheduled to take place in the village of Basiyounia in Fayoum Governorate on April 29.

During the session, she announced the adoption of the “Wafraha Tenawarha” initiative, which aims to promote a culture of rational electricity consumption among students, faculty members, and staff through a range of awareness activities, alongside the use of a unified visual identity across the campaign’s media materials.
