Within the framework of the joint cooperation protocol between Ain Shams University and the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, and stemming from the university's commitment to preparing and qualifying academic and administrative personnel with national awareness and strategic thinking, the Training and Development Center of the Innovation and Training Sector announces the organization of the training program "Pillars and Determinants of Egyptian National Security in Light of Contemporary Changes." This program is being held in cooperation with the National Defense College at the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in person, and on Sunday, August 9, 2026, via distance learning, at the Innovation and Training Sector building in the student dormitories at Ain Shams University. A number of lecturers from the National Defense College at the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies will be presenting at the program.

The program comes as part of the university's efforts to promote a culture of national security and to instill awareness of regional and international challenges and changes, thereby contributing to the development of leaders capable of anticipating the future and addressing various strategic issues within a comprehensive national vision.

The program aims to enhance national awareness of the concept of Egyptian national security and its political, economic, social, and military dimensions; to familiarize participants with the most prominent regional and international changes and their implications for national security; to develop the strategic thinking and analytical abilities of participants; and to prepare qualified personnel to contribute to supporting the development process and decision-making.

The program targets faculty staff, teaching assistants, faculty vice deans, department heads, center and unit directors, and administrative staff at Ain Shams University.

The program qualifies faculty staff and teaching assistants for promotion, thus enhancing its importance in professional and academic development. It also supports Ain Shams University's strategy for capacity building and human resource development. The program is part of a series of specialized training programs organized by the sector in cooperation with specialized national entities.
