As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's commitment to integrating students with disabilities, and Ain Shams University's new vision to expand knowledge and social inclusion for its students, the Education and Student Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University organized an educational field visit to the New Administrative Capital.
This visit was sponsored by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and the university's Education and Student Affairs Sector, through the Student Services Center for Students with Disabilities and in cooperation with the General Administration of Youth Care.

A delegation of students with disabilities from universities in the Greater Cairo Region (Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Helwan University, and Benha University) participated in the visit, reflecting the cooperation and integration between Egyptian universities in supporting and empowering this important group of students.
The visit program included several important landmarks in the New Administrative Capital, providing students with a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments and projects in Egypt. The visit included the National Academy for Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, where the delegation learned about the latest technologies and support services. They also viewed training labs dedicated to visual impairments, a mechanics lab, an engineering design lab, an electronics and robotics lab, a 3D printing lab, and a virtual reality (AR & VR) lab, in addition to the academy's library.
The visit also included the Administrative Capital Authority to learn about urban planning and development efforts, the Ministries District, and a tour of the heart of the state's administrative apparatus. The visit also included the Great Mosque of Egypt, one of the largest mosques in the world, and the City of Arts and Culture, which includes the new Cairo Opera House and museum, as well as the Capitals Museum, to explore the history of Egyptian capitals throughout the ages.

Twelve students with disabilities from Ain Shams University participated in this visit, with the aim of promoting their integration into various aspects of university and community life, developing their skills, and opening new horizons for them.
These activities are part of the Ain Shams University Student Center's ongoing efforts to empower its students and provide them with practical and community experiences.
