Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abedeen in the activities of the 31st Summit Scouting Session for Egyptian Universities Scouts and Scouts, where the university participates with an elite group of the best scouts and scouts at the university level, as they were carefully selected and after passing many scouting tests and skills to participate in the most important scouting event held on the grounds of Tanta University from the third to the twelfth of this February under the administrative supervision of Ain Shams University by Professor Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Mr. Tarek Ahmed, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of the University’s Scouts Department.
The first day’s competitions began with the receipt of lands allocated to universities to build scouting grounds. The aim was to encourage young people to adapt to the circumstances and available capabilities, to become self-reliant, and to create a spirit of cooperation among young people, while the second day included completing the construction of the lands, in addition to religious competitions in memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s hadiths.
It is noteworthy that the session witnesses the participation of a number of scouting delegations from a number of universities, including Ain Shams University, Alexandria, Sohag, Tanta, Menoufia, Banha, Beni Suef, Helwan, and Suez Canal University.
