An introductory seminar on innovation and entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Law in cooperation with the University’s Innovation Center

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, the introductory symposium on innovation and entrepreneurship was held in cooperation between the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Law and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University in the amphitheater of Prof. Dr. Abdel Ahad Gamal El-Din at the Faculty of Law.

The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Yassin Al-Shazly, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Behairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Deputy Director of the Innovation Center at the university, Ms. Lubna Mahmoud, Director of Projects at the University’s Innovation Center, and a group of faculty staff and the teaching assistants, and witnessed a large presence of faculty students.

The seminar’s activities began by welcoming the faculty’s guests and the honorable attendees, and then the faculty administration’s affirmation of its great keenness to support and encourage innovative ideas and entrepreneurship, and the unlimited support for the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in order to carry out its functions and tasks, foremost among which is the promotion and dissemination of the culture of innovation among students. The faculty, spreading the idea of ​​entrepreneurship among them, encouraging them to create innovative ideas and starting pioneering projects.

     
 
     

The faculty administration has emphasized that one of the most important duties of the Innovation Office is to help students with innovative ideas or pioneering projects to develop their ideas and projects and implement them on the ground by connecting them to those who support, develop and develop them for them.

And then the office contributes to making the path that enables these students to transform their ideas into pioneering projects that contribute to the advancement and development of society.

After that, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Behairi and Dr. Wiam Mahmoud explained what is meant by innovation and entrepreneurship, the importance of each, and what is the relationship of innovation and entrepreneurship to law students. After that, a number of students asked questions and they were answered.

At the end of the seminar, the management of the Innovation Office announced that the office intends to present a set of courses, seminars and workshops in cooperation with the University’s Innovation Center, which aim at the following:

1- Creating a positive environment to incubate creative ideas, develop entrepreneurial skills, and develop small projects.

2- Benefiting from previous experiences in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, by meeting with professors, experts and entrepreneurs.
