ASMUN is considered one of the most prominent modern educational tools that provide students with the opportunity to move from theoretical study to simulating real-world international affairs. It is a unique student activity that not only transfers knowledge in international law but also equips students with essential skills such as time management, teamwork, presentation and public speaking, and effective communication.
The model also aims to empower students with leadership skills, as it is fully organized and managed by students themselves, in an effort to prepare future leaders and qualified professionals for international arenas under the slogan: “Learn, Grow and Lead.”
Over the course of April 28–29, the Security Council witnessed intensive discussions that began with opening statements and lobbying sessions, followed by formal debate sessions. In a unique legal experience, the International Court of Justice committee simulated court proceedings with high accuracy, starting from oath-taking and pleadings all the way to the issuance of a final judgment.

The logistical organization of the model reflected a high level of professionalism, as students formed specialized committees including media, human resources, organizing, and academic committees, aiming to build an integrated administrative structure that ensures the continuity and success of the model.
Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law, affirmed that the success of ASMUN 2026 clearly demonstrates the students’ ability to effectively simulate international reality. He noted the faculty’s commitment to moving students from theoretical learning into practical application, praising the initiative and spirit of the participating youth, and stressing the faculty’s continuous support for such platforms that shape the personality of future Egyptian diplomats and legal professionals.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation in a celebratory atmosphere, affirming that ASMUN will remain an active platform for building the capacities of future generations of diplomats and legal experts, capable of turning ideas into tangible reality despite years of suspension.
