The Faculty of Business Launches Strategic Artificial Intelligence Workshop in Cooperation with Global Leader McGraw Hill

In a qualitative step reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of educational quality and in line with the state’s vision for digital transformation, the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University organized a strategic workshop in cooperation with McGraw Hill, the global leader in educational publishing.

The event was held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Prof. Ali Lotfy Hall, marking a significant advancement in academic learning tools.

The workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty, with distinguished coordination efforts by Dr. Norhan Tohamy, Director of the Faculty’s E-Services Unit, aimed at enhancing technological infrastructure and advancing the student learning experience.

The workshop focused on achieving strategic technical and technological integration between the global “Connect” platform and the Faculty of Commerce’s e-learning platform.

This integration enables students to activate unified accounts, providing them with unlimited access to advanced adaptive learning technologies and artificial intelligence tools that personalize the learning experience according to each student’s individual needs.

The platform also provides immediate access to the latest international references and electronic courses, in addition to efficiently managing coursework, assignments, and examinations through integrated online services.

The workshop witnessed remarkable student attendance, reflecting their enthusiasm for knowledge and adoption of modern technologies. It also featured exceptional engagement in educational competitions held alongside the workshop, culminating in a draw for three valuable prizes.

The event was attended by academic coordinators, including Prof. Bassam El-Ahmady, Academic Coordinator of the English Section; Dr. Dalia, Academic Coordinator of the English Credit Hour Program; Dr. Hesham Abdel Aziz, Academic Coordinator of Interdisciplinary Programs; and Dr. Bassant Abdel Mardy, Lecturer at the Faculty, underscoring the Faculty’s commitment to advancing its educational system at the highest standards.
