Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, concluded his field visits to inspect the progress of end-of-first-semester examinations at the Faculty of Archaeology, as part of the University administration’s commitment to continuous monitoring of the examination process and to ensuring a safe, orderly environment that enables students to sit for their exams under appropriate conditions.
During the visit, the Vice President was accompanied by Dr. Nawal Gaber, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.
While touring the examination halls, Prof. Ghali reviewed compliance with all examination regulations and procedures designed to ensure discipline within the committees, alongside creating a suitable atmosphere for students and providing the necessary comfort, safety and support, reflecting on their academic performance.
Prof. Ghali was also keen to listen to students’ views and feedback regarding the level of exam questions, their alignment with course content, and the overall examination conditions, emphasizing the importance of direct communication with students to identify any observations and address them promptly.
He commended the smooth and well-organized conduct of the examination process, highlighting the effectiveness of the University’s strict organizational measures and full adherence to the announced rules and guidelines.
During the tour, the Vice President stressed the importance of adhering to standardized exam paper specifications, underscoring the need for diversity in questions to serve students’ interests and accurately reflect their academic achievement.
In a related context, Professor Ghali reaffirmed Ain Shams University’s commitment to providing full support to inclusion students and students with special needs by offering all necessary accommodation within examination halls, ensuring equal opportunities for all students and a fair, inclusive examination environment.
He also praised the efforts exerted by faculty deans, vice deans, academic staff, administrative personnel, and relevant departments in supervising and closely monitoring the examinations, noting that such collaboration is a key factor in the success and regularity of the examination process.
At the conclusion of his visit, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali emphasized the importance of expediting the announcement of first-semester examination results, in line with Ain Shams University’s dedication to maintaining the regularity of the educational process.
