Ain Shams University Hospitals Organize Specialized Training Courses in Plastic Surgery for Physicians from Egypt and Arab Countries
As part of a series of training programs implemented by the Training Administration at Ain Shams University Hospitals, the Department of Plastic, Burn, and Maxillofacial Surgery organized several specialized training courses for physicians from various Arab countries and Egyptian universities. These courses are part of an ongoing plan aimed at enhancing the competencies of medical staff and developing their practical skills in accordance with the latest scientific standards.
The activities were held under the auspices of Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of the Hospitals. During the month of November, two intensive training courses were conducted, targeting physicians interested in the latest surgical and non-surgical cosmetic techniques.
The first course addressed techniques for injecting dermal fillers, botulinum toxin (Botox), and plasma, through a comprehensive scientific program that included theoretical lectures and hands-on practical training, under the supervision of a distinguished group of professors from the Department of Plastic Surgery.
The second course focused on endoscopic facelift procedures and surgical face-lift techniques, which are considered among the highly specialized fields witnessing growing demand within plastic surgery.
During the events, Prof. Tarek Youssef conducted an inspection visit to the Department of Plastic Surgery, during which he reviewed the progress of the training programs and commended the scientific and organizational standards of the courses, as well as the efforts made in training physicians and refining their practical skills.
He was received by Prof. Ahmed Ali Hassan, Head of the Department, who supervised the ceremony honoring the participating instructors and trainee physicians in both courses.
These activities reflect Ain Shams University Hospitals’ commitment to supporting continuous medical education, enhancing the exchange of expertise, and providing physicians across various surgical specialties with access to the latest international medical practices.
