The announcement of Khalifa Award for Education– 19th Cycle (2025-2026)
The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education announced the launch of the 19th cycle of the award for 2025-2026, encompassing 10 fields across 17 categories at the local, regional, and international levels.
The award's mission and objectives reflect, locally, regionally, and internationally, an investment in human capital as an investment in the future. This cycle is particularly significant as it coincides with several distinguished national initiatives in the education sector, especially those related to artificial intelligence and its application in education and various developmental fields. Artificial intelligence is considered a key indicator for evaluating candidates' applications.
The nineteenth cycle seeks to enhance the role of artificial intelligence in supporting the excellence of candidates' files, by employing artificial intelligence tools and demonstrating their positive impact on improving the quality of the educational process, with a focus on the student as the central focus of the educational process.
The fields and categories for the nineteenth cycle are:
1. Distinguished Educational Figure: For individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of education at both the local and Arab levels.
2. General Education:
- Innovative Teacher Category (locally and regionally)
- Institutional Educational Performance Category
3. Education and Community Service:
- Institutions Category
- Distinguished Emirati Families Category
4. People of Determination:
- Individuals Category
- Institutions and Centers Category
5. Creativity in Teaching Arabic:
- Distinguished Teacher Category
- Distinguished University Professor Category (locally and regionally)
6. Higher Education: Distinguished University Professor Category
7. Educational Research: Educational Research Category
8. Children's Educational Writing:
- Educational Innovations Category
- Children's Literature Research Category
9. Educational Projects and Programs:
- Individuals Category
- Institutions Category
- Students Category
10. Khalifa International Award for Early Childhood Education (Fourth Cycle):
- Research and Studies Category
- Programs, Curricula, Methodologies, and Teaching Methods Category
The field of early childhood education aims to promote the advancement of early childhood development, highlight best scientific and practical practices, and provide a stimulating environment for growth, creativity, and excellence.
