The Faculty of Arts Celebrates “Psychological Services” Journal Being Ranked in the Arab Impact Factor

The Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University has announced that the “Psychological Services” journal, published by the Psychological Services Center, has been included in the 2025 Arab Impact Factor and Citation Report (ARCIF). This recognition crowns continuous scientific efforts, as the journal met 32 international accreditation standards and achieved an impact factor of 0.3824, placing it in the Q3 category in the field of Psychology among 43 Arab journals, reflecting its prestigious standing in the Arab academic community.

This achievement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, University President, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, with supervision by Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed Khattab, Director of the Center for Consultations and Training.

The recognition is considered a significant addition to the faculty’s ongoing efforts in supporting scientific research and community service.

Prof. Hanan Kamel expressed her delight with the ranking, emphasizing that it is the result of collective scientific effort and the university’s mission, praising the role of the editorial board and researchers.

Prof. Hanan Salem highlighted the achievement as a source of pride, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and the integration of scientific dedication with a human-centered vision.

Dr. Mohamed Khattab noted that success embodies the faculty’s vision of transforming knowledge into developmental and cultural action that serves community awareness and development.

It is noteworthy that the Arab Impact Factor (ARCIF) is a pioneering scientific initiative supervised by the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in Arab Statesو Beirut, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in partnership with the Ma’arefa Database.
