As part of its commitment to honor the glorious memory of the October Victory, a historic milestone that remains etched in the hearts of generations, the Education and Student Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University actively participated in the Armed Forces Exhibition at the October War Panorama (October Memory), upon the kind invitation of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
The university’s participation celebrated the heroic spirit of the October War through a variety of artistic contributions, including visual arts, commemorative paintings, and musical performances by the university’s distinguished choral ensemble.
This engagement was organized through the Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the General Administration for Youth Welfare, including all its committees, with a particular focus on artistic activities, during the period from Saturday, October 4 to Monday, October 6.
In recognition of its active participation, Ain Shams University was awarded a shield of appreciation. On behalf of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Walaa Abdel Ghany, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, led and represented the university’s delegation at the October War Panorama.
Prof. Walaa Abdel Ghany received the Shield of Effective Participation on the evening of Monday, October 6, accompanied by a delegation of students and administrative staff from the General Administration for Youth Welfare, representing the Education and Student Affairs Sector.
Ain Shams University continues to celebrate the October Victory throughout the entire month of October, both on and off campus, across various platforms and events. These efforts aim to strengthen the values of national identity, loyalty, and dedication to preserving the land and sacred heritage of Egypt.
As part of these ongoing celebrations, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, under the leadership of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, is set to launch the “October Victory Exhibition” on Tuesday, October 7, in front of the historic Zafaran Palace, running for two days. The exhibition will showcase prominent visual and artistic works created by students from the “Students for Egypt” movement, in coordination with the Faculty of Specific Education and the General Administration for Youth Welfare.
Additionally, university-wide activities will include the gathering of scouting and public service students, along with other student activity groups from all faculties, to commemorate the victory. The events will begin in the Zafaran Palace courtyard and span all faculties throughout the month, in honor of this timeless national triumph.
