The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University is launching the event “Made in Ain Shams – Industry Day” to support collaboration between the university and the industrial sector. The event is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, University President; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Neveen Assem, Executive Director of the Innovation and Training Sector.
Ain Shams University, represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, will host the event on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Building on campus. The event will feature participation from leading companies across various industries, alongside governmental bodies that support entrepreneurship and innovation.
This event aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and partnerships with state institutions and the industrial sector. It supports national efforts to localize industry and reduce reliance on imports by highlighting the university’s role as a bridge connecting scientific research and innovation on one hand, and market and industrial needs on the other. The event is supervised and organized by Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.

- Showcase actionable applied projects submitted by students, researchers, faculty members, and graduates, offering opportunities to attract support, funding, and networking with industrial partners.
- Enable companies to review student and researcher projects as a practical way to identify outstanding competencies and skills.
- Provide participants with experience in pitching projects and ideas within a set timeframe, fostering persuasion skills and the ability to accept and utilize constructive criticism for improvement.
- Inspire a qualitative shift in students’ mindset toward adopting and executing innovative projects with high economic feasibility and direct practical applications that realistically and effectively meet market and industrial demands.
- Present the university’s research and development services to participating companies, showcasing its research and innovation capabilities and attracting new collaboration opportunities.
