During its session held on Monday, May 26, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the University Council honored Prof. Khaled Kadry, former Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Prof. Omar El-Husseiny, former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, in recognition of their efforts and contributions during their tenure as leaders of the two faculties.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Council members: Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs; Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo; Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Education and Local Development; the University's Vice Presidents, Deans, and members of the University Council.

In his speech, the University President praised the contributions of the honorees, emphasizing that their contributions will continue and that the University is proud of the valuable contributions of its leaders and faculty to serving the academic and research community.
For his part, Prof. Omar El-Husseiny expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for this honor, emphasizing that work within the University proceeds according to an integrated system based on cooperation and team spirit.
Prof. Khaled Kadry also appreciated this generous gesture from the University Council, emphasizing that what distinguishes Ain Shams University is its institutional work based on continuous giving, with each new faculty staff adding a distinctive touch that contributes to the university's progress and prosperity. He noted that he learned from the professors who preceded him and exerted all his efforts during his tenure to support and advance the university's progress.
