Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and graciously hosted by Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, organized a seminar entitled "Bullying and Its Legal and Social Impact."
This seminar comes as part of Ain Shams University's commitment to raising students' awareness of important societal issues and equipping them with the knowledge necessary to confront negative phenomena such as bullying, thereby contributing to the creation of a safe and supportive university environment. The event was held under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

The seminar was attended by Prof. Mohamed El-Shafie, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs, who emphasized the importance of such events in educating students on critical societal issues.
The seminar was enriched by contributions from a distinguished group of academic experts, where Prof. Tarek Zaghloul, Head of the Criminal Law Department at the Faculty of Law, shed light on the legal aspects of bullying and the penalties associated with it.
Prof. Mona El-Sayed Hafez, Professor in the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts, provided a comprehensive explanation of the serious social and psychological effects that bullying has on individuals and society.
The students engaged actively with the seminar’s discussions, gaining valuable insights into the dangers of bullying, its various dimensions, and its negative consequences from both legal and social perspectives.
