The Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University celebrates orphaned children with special needs on Challenge Day

In line with Ain Shams University's commitment to fulfilling its societal role and providing support and care for the most vulnerable groups, contributing to building a balanced and integrated society, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, the "Students for Egypt" family at Ain Shams University concluded its celebratory events held on the occasion of Challenge Day for orphans with special needs.

Several orphanages participated in the event, including Al-Sondos Orphanage, Mosharkat Al-Khair Orphanage, Al-Maryam Orphanage, and Zaman Al-Khair Orphanage. The activities included a variety of entertaining and interactive workshops: the “Draw My Features” face painting workshop, the “Color with Your Imagination” workshop, the “Art of Models” workshop for coloring 3D figures, and the “Skills Station” workshop for games that develop children's abilities.

The event witnessed broad participation from orphaned children, aiming to integrate them into society and boost their self-confidence. The atmosphere was joyful and festive, reflecting the university’s dedication to supporting this important segment of society.

The event was held under the supervision and coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, in collaboration with the "Students for Egypt" family and the Families and Student Unions Administration of the General Youth Welfare Department.

In her speech, Dr. Samar Ragab, Deputy General Mentor of the “Students for Egypt” family, emphasized the importance of joint efforts by various institutions to support and empower orphans. She praised the support provided by Ain Shams University and the Education and Student Affairs Sector, commending the role played by the university and the “Students for Egypt” family in the field of community engagement. She also expressed her happiness at the children's participation and their enthusiastic interaction with the different activities.

For their part, the children and their families expressed their joy at this celebration and their gratitude to Ain Shams University for this kind initiative, which brought happiness to their hearts.
