May 8, the Faculty of Arts organizes the “First Forum for Youth Arab Researchers”

The Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, organized the first forum for youth Arab researchers on Wednesday and Thursday, May 8-9, 2024, under the patronage of Prof.   Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof.  Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof.  Hanan Kamel Metwally, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and under the supervision of Prof.  Hatem Rabie Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research.

 It is noteworthy that the forum is being held for the first time, and aims to shed light on the efforts made by youth Arab researchers in various branches of the humanities, highlight the role of young researchers in developing scientific research, and finally bring together youth researchers in one forum, to provide them with the opportunity to communicate and cooperate in joint inter-research.

The forum’s administration welcomes all researchers from inside and outside Egypt who wish to participate by sending a request to participate in research or by attending only, while providing them with all requirements and their convenience, including transportation and accommodation, in accordance with the forum’s organizational rules, and the researcher adheres to the specifications announced on the Faculty’s official website and page.

The conditions and specifications include what is related to the method of writing and the number of pages, and that this research must not have been previously published or submitted for publication, taking into account also the specifications and rules of writing, such as font type and size according to the language of the research.

 All submitted research will be subject to arbitration by the arbitration committee of the Journal of the Annals of the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University.

Accepted research will be published in a special issue of the forum in the journal after meeting the necessary conditions for publication, without any responsibility on the forum’s organizing committee.

Note that the deadline for receiving applications is April 25, 2024.

The researcher sends the presentation for review before the start of the conference, and the researcher also sends his complete research with a summary in Arabic and English.
 
The participant, whether through research or attendance, receives a statement of participation in the forum at the end of the conference sessions.

The research participant will also receive a statement of acceptance for publication after the research has been peer-reviewed and its publication has been accepted in the Annals of the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University.
