Signing a cooperation protocol between the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at Ain Shams University Hospitals and General Electric Alka

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University and General Electric Alka.

The protocol was signed by Prof. Amr Al-Husseini, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the presence of Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and Prof. Rehab Abdel Rahman, General Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and Prof. Karam Bayoumi, Head of the Ultrasound Unit, and Prof. Ahmed Rami, former head of the fetal medicine department, and an elite group of department professors and unit doctors

This protocol stipulates the provision of the latest technologies and devices that are used in diagnosing and monitoring the health of women and fetuses, as more than 250 women needing this service are received daily. This cooperation enhances the opportunities for scientific research in the field of fetal medicine. This protocol is valid for two years to provide distinguished service to patients and achieve Development and progress in the field of health care for women in Egypt within Ain Shams University Hospitals.

The protocol aims to strengthen fetal medicine and ultrasound services to improve health care services provided to women in Egypt.
