Closing of nominations for the Ain Shams University Appreciation, Pioneers and Incentive Awards 2023

Ain Shams University announced the closing of nominations for its Appreciation, Pioneers, and Incentive Awards for the year 2023 on Sunday, December 31, 2023. This year witnessed distinguished participation, as the number of participating faculties reached 15 faculties, namely: Faculties of Arts, Girls, Education, Law, Languages, Archeology, Environment, Childhood, Specific Education, Science, Medicine, and Engineering. Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Computer and Information Sciences.

These awards come within the framework of the university’s support for researchers and scientists, as the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award began in 1993, and its reward was modified to reach 100 thousand pounds, with 17 awards being granted covering all specializations at the university.

In the context of supporting youth, the university launched its Incentive Award in 2021 with a financial reward amounting to 25 thousand pounds, which was developed to include 10 awards covering all specializations.

The university also launched the University Award for Pioneers this year with a financial reward of 75 thousand pounds, with the approval of the University Council on 6/26/2023 and the adoption of its first bylaws on 11/6/2023, which includes 6 areas in honor of the university’s founding pioneers.

The Awards Office extends its thanks and appreciation to the university’s higher administration for the continuous development, support, and care through the development of various awards that include all specializations and categories. It also extends its thanks for the efforts made by the General Administration of Scientific Research, the office of the Assistant Secretary of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the office of Prof. Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research in following up on all nomination procedures.

It is worth noting that these awards reflect the university’s commitment to supporting scientific research and innovation and encouraging young people to achieve outstanding achievements in various fields in supporting scientific research and encouraging innovators and distinguished youth from the university and represent a strategic step towards enhancing academic excellence and innovation in multiple fields.
