The Faculty of Alsun launches a carnival to welcome new and old students for the academic year 2023/2024 over the course of four days

The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University organizes a reception for new and old students for the academic year 2023/2024, which continues over four days, under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

         
   
         

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, opened the activities of the student reception carnival, stressing that the Faculty of Al-Alsun is the fortress that produces cadres specialized in languages and releases them to serve the nation, noting that the Faculty took intensive steps and measures before the start of the study marathon, it carried out comprehensive maintenance operations for the faculty buildings and halls, and three new electrical transformers are being replaced and renovated in order to improve the electrical capacity and loads in the faculty and to maintain the absence of power outages during the school day. The faculty also took care to create a new outlet for students to spend their rest time between lectures.

         
   
         

She continued her speech, pointing out the importance of understanding the role of students in receiving linguistic and translation sciences from the most prestigious faculty in Egypt and the Middle East at the hands of an elite group of experienced professors, and the importance of developing the student’s linguistic abilities during the summer vacation, as well as the importance of participating in various student activities that refine the translator’s personality and enhance his skills in professional practice in the labor market.

In a related context, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, explained the tasks of the education and student sector in serving the goals of the educational process and providing many services to students through its various departments. He stressed that faculty is the link between school life and practical life after graduation, during which the student is honed with many educational and life skills to prepare him to be an active element in Egyptian society and culture after graduation.

The activities of the first day of the student reception carnival included a scouts show parade, and singing shows by the faculty choir.
