In a new achievement for Ain Shams University, a team from the Faculty of Engineering won second place in the international "Arab Cable Manufacturers Association" competition, held under the auspices of Elsewedy Electric. This success was achieved through coordination and participation via the university's Career Center (ASU Career Center).

The team's participation was under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghaly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and was supervised by Prof. Amin El Kharbatly, Professor in the Department of Design and Production Engineering at the Faculty.

The regional competition witnessed fierce competition among a select group of prestigious universities in Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. The competition's objectives focused on creating a technological breakthrough in the development of the electrical cable industry by integrating and employing the latest artificial intelligence applications to deliver innovative and sustainable industrial solutions.
