Honoring Dr. Helen Ayad, former director of the German Center of Excellence in the Faculty of Education, in the presence of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research

Proceeding from the importance of the Center of Excellence at the Faculty of Education, and in appreciation of the role played by Dr. Helen Ayad Bishara, the former Director of the Center, Prof.  Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University honored Dr. Helen Ayad .....
Based on the importance of the Center of Excellence for the Studies and Research of German Languages and Arabic for Non-Native Speakers in the Faculty of Education, which is one of the leading centers in the university, and in appreciation of the role played by Dr. Helen Ayad Bishara, the former director of the center, and her distinguished efforts in the launch of the center, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Center, honored Dr. Helen Ayad.
Prof.  Muhammad Ayman Saleh was also honored for his chairmanship of the Center’s Board of Directors in the previous period, which witnessed distinction and the Center’s launch towards excellence and leadership in performance. The honoring was attended by Prof. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Member of the Board of Directors, Dr. Basem Shuaib, Director of the Center, Prof. Alaa El Din Abdel Halim Mohamed  Farag, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
A group of heads of departments in the Faculty, members of the board of directors of the center, coordinators of joint programs, as well as directors of technical units, heads of controllers and faculty staff of the Faculty participated in the ceremony of honoring and meeting, Prof.  Ayman Saleh, confirmed the importance of scientific research and the leadership of Ain Shams University in this field, in addition to the importance of projects and the need to pay attention to them as a main source of income for scientific research for faculties and the university, as indicated by His Excellency for the various research and scientific services provided by Ain Shams University.
Prof. Safa explained the faculty’s interest in this aspect and the entry of student projects in the next stage as a competitive element guarantees continuity of performance and excellence. The meeting was distinguished by many important interventions that ensure leadership in scientific research in the faculty and the university.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency praised the efforts made by the Faculty of Education, its competition and distinction in international publishing, and His Excellency stressed the need to continue to follow up on international publishing and active participation in scientific circles, which guarantees the quality of scientific research, the participation of the largest number of researchers, and the overlap in disciplines, which in turn enriches the scientific research system.
In conclusion, memorial photos were taken with the Vice President, the Faculty administration, heads of departments, members of the center’s board of directors, and members of the faculty staff. Everyone wished excellence and leadership for the Faculty and the university in a way that contributes to achieving the university’s mission and sustainability in scientific and technological progress.
