A workshop at the Faculty of Law deals with the rules and basics of scientific publishing in international journals

In the interest of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University to enhance its leading role in the fields of research and scientific publishing, and in implementation of the university's vision, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Salih, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, a workshop was organized entitled "Rules and Fundamentals of Scientific Publishing in International Journals", under the supervision of Prof. Yassin Muhammad Tharwat El-Shazly, Professor of Commercial and Maritime Law and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and coordinated by Dr. Fatima Galal, Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Law.

The workshop dealt with international publishing, how to apply for journals listed in the global databases Scopus and Web of science, how to avoid being deceived by fake sites, it also dealt with the different types of scientific papers that can be published internationally, and the steps for completing a scientific paper starting with choosing a topic, writing conditions and adherence to standards of the scientific journal to be applied for, up to the decision of the examiners in international journals and its various types.

The symposium was attended by a number of faculty members, assistant staff, and researchers at the Faculty of Law and other faculties of the university.
