Ministry of Higher Education: New Cairo Technological University signs a cooperation protocol with the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressed the importance of cooperation and integration between universities to raise the educational, academic and research level of universities and the exchange of experiences, skills and knowledge among faculty members to develop the higher education system in Egypt, which is reflected in preparing a generation capable of meeting the requirements of the contemporary and future labor market.

In this context, New Cairo Technological University, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Shafi El-Sheikh, signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, headed by Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty; To consolidate cooperation between the two sides and intensify and activate practical training and student exchange in the engineering and technological sector.

The protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the two universities in the fields of training and technical and practical applications for students. To take advantage of the workshops and laboratories available in the two universities, and to hold joint conferences in the fields of industrial and technological development, training and employment.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sheikh confirmed on New Cairo Technological University's efforts to hold many cooperation protocols with various bodies and institutions; To enhance means of joint cooperation and the advancement of technological education, pointing to the importance of cooperation between the two universities in the various production, service and training fields in a way that contributes to raising the professional and scientific level of the university in order to graduate a generation capable of competing in the local, regional and international labor market, and to provide the necessary expertise for university students on scientific and practical level.

Dr. Omar Al-Husseini stressed the importance of supporting and strengthening cooperation frameworks between Egyptian universities, to support the quality of educational performance, which is reflected in the higher education system in Egypt, stressing his aspiration for more fruitful cooperation in various educational and research fields.
