The Faculty of Specific Education launches a comprehensive development convoy in the villages of Tal Bani Tamim and Silman Al-War in Qalyubia Governorate

On Sunday, March 5, the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, launched the comprehensive development convoy in the villages of Tal Bani Tamim and Suleiman Al-War in Qaliweba Governorate, in cooperation with the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, the University's Adult Education Center and the General Authority for Adult Education, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Major General Abdul Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, supervised by: Prof. Osama El-Sayed Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Farag, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Rasha Abdel-Salam, coordinator of the convoy and director of the Literacy Unit, Prof. Ahmed Abdel-Nabi Nazeer, coordinator of the convoy.

The convoy was organized in cooperation with Prof. Mohamed Nassef, head of the Public Authority for Adult Education and Literacy, Prof. Asst. Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University, Prof. Ahmed Galal Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Hala Sweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Hiam Refaat, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service Affairs - Prof. Rami Maher, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Ayman Fathy Khalil, Director of the Art Center, Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary for Community Service Sector, at Ain Shams University, Mr. Maher Salem, Director General of the Faculty Specific Education, at Ain Shams University, and accountant Khaled Al-Orfi, Head of the Center and City of Shebin Al-Qanater.

The convoy included medical services for various specialties for the people of the villages, including ophthalmology, internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, children, nose and ear, and brain and nerves, with the provision of necessary medicines for them. The convoy also included a clothing campaign, distributing more than 1,200 pieces of clothing, and distributing more than 300 food cartons to the people of the two villages.

Technical workshops were also presented to work and how to print textiles on clothes and deliver these clothes to the children of the village, and puppet shows with the preparation of the Educational Media Department. A workshop was held in the recycling of agricultural waste, and the Faculty of Nursing participated in the measurements of pressure and sugar.

In the same context, the Literacy Unit established a level setting and wrote a book for more than 100 women from the two villages, in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education at the university. Some seminars and awareness activities were held for the people of the two villages.
