As part of Ain Shams University's strategy to enhance the quality of services provided to its international students and improve administrative efficiency, and within the framework of the university's institutional development and digital transformation plan, the International Student Accounts Department, under the General Administration of Units and Special Funds Accounts, has been upgraded. This department is a key component of the financial transactions for international students, particularly regarding tuition fees and other service charges.

This upgrade comes under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghaly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and with the follow-up of Major General Ahmed Lashin, Secretary General of the University. It underscores the university's commitment to providing a comprehensive service system befitting the name and stature of Ain Shams University as one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Egypt and the region.

The development project aims to establish and link integrated electronic financial databases for international students with the university's various faculties, the International Students Office, and visiting professors within the International Relations and Academic Collaboration sector. This will contribute to improving financial performance, enhancing accuracy and transparency, and expediting transaction processing

The project also aims to simplify and streamline the process of issuing payment notifications, reduce service delivery time, and minimize congestion, particularly during exam periods. This will save international students time and effort, and enhance their satisfaction and sense of support and care within the university system.

This comprehensive update of the administrative and financial structure reflects Ain Shams University’s commitment to sustainable development policies, improving the quality of services, and dealing quickly and effectively with the challenges that international students may face, which contributes to consolidating the university’s image as a leading educational institution with competitive standards at the regional and international levels.

The opening of the newly developed International Students Accounts Department headquarters was attended by: Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, Prof. Dina Lashin, Director of the International Students Department in the sector, Major General Ahmed Lashin, Secretary General of the University, Mr. Mohamed El-Gamal, Head of the Central Administration for the University President’s Sector, Mr. Mohamed El-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Mr. Amr Ali, Director General of the General Administration for Units and Special Funds Accounts.
