The activities of the "For Egypt" Cup, organized by a family for Egypt Central in five-a-side football and table tennis, will start today, Sunday, November 6, 2022, and will continue until the 16th of the same month, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of a. Dr. Hatem Rabie, a family leader at Ain Shams University, who in turn indicated that holding the tournament comes within the framework of the university's interest in supporting student activities in all fields, especially sports, to build a healthy generation of young people physically and morally, and to make optimal use of the youth's energies and recreation, and to deepen the spirit of honest competition.

He also indicated the keenness of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, praised the success of the tournament, his support for it, and his participation for students in the moments of winning and honoring at the end of each tournament.

Rabee stressed the high student demand for participation in the tournament, as 256 teams participate in the five-a-side football competition, with a total of 2048 students, and one five-a-side football team consists of 5 players and 3 reserve players, so it is the largest tournament in Egyptian universities in terms of The participation of students, and the first place winning team gets 5200 EGP, the second 4000 EGP, and the third 3200 EGP.

As for the table tennis competition, 64 students will compete, and the first place winner will get 600 EGP, the second 500 EGP, and the third 400 EGP.

The championship activities are also held in the stadiums of the faculties of: Commerce - Medicine - Engineering - Pharmacy.

Students from all faculties of the university participate in the tournament, and participation is free.
