Ain Shams University participated in the activities of the International Conference for the Development of Vocational and Technical Education in Tianjin, China, represented by the University Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, Director of the Confucius Institute at the university, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

The conference was attended by 700 officials, specialists from 134 countries around the world.

The conference began with a message from Chinese President Xi Jinping, which was read by Suen Chunlan, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council.

Suen Chunle noted that President Xi Jinping's congratulatory message deeply explained the important role of vocational education in promoting economic development and improving people's livelihood, pointing to confidence and incentive to deepen international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education.

         
   
         

She explained that the Chinese government attaches great importance to vocational education, adheres to the qualitative orientation of vocational education, deepens the reform of vocational education, and adopts the world's largest vocational education system, which not only provides important support for high-quality development, but also meets the growth, and the needs of different students and expands Career development. Prospects give everyone a chance to shine in life.

She stressed that China is willing to work with the international community to build a multi-level and large-scale cooperation platform, increase support for vocational education in developing countries, especially African countries, and promote people of all countries to share the fruits of vocational education development.

The holding of the Global Conference on TVET Development is an important part of the list of outcomes of the High-level Global Development Dialogue, in which education ministers and diplomatic envoys in China and other countries conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions both online and offline.

The conference was co-organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, China National Commission for UNESCO, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Vocational Education Development Center, China National Open University, Education Association for International Exchange, Tianjin Vocational and Technical College of Light Industry, Tianjin Academy of Educational Sciences, College Zhejiang Professional Electromechanical and Technical, Tianjin Professional University, Strategic Cooperation Unit, Central Bank of China.

It is worth noting that Ain Shams University's invitation to participate in the conference came due to the presence of Le Pen's workshop at the Faculty of Engineering, where students are rehabilitated and trained according to the concept of linking the industry academically with training and the labor market, according to the latest technologies, as it is considered a center in Egypt and Africa.

It allows gaining practical experience in several fields and training graduates of engineering programs.

It is noteworthy that the Le Pen workshop, which was established in Tianjin Province, Republic of China, which took the lead in becoming a famous brand for exchanges between China and the countries of the world, to become a platform for cooperation and an innovative project for the development of the internationalization of vocational education. The government of Tianjin Province, the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, with the participation of the Tianjin Technical and Vocational College of Light Industry for Maintenance Technology, established two headquarters for Luban’s first workshop in Egypt, at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, which includes three basic disciplines: technology of using and maintaining digital control equipment, technology The use of new energy and the technology of car use and maintenance, and the second in the Advanced Technical School of Maintenance Technology.

The Le Pen workshop is the first of its kind at the level of Egyptian universities, specializing in the fields of vocational training and community service in a number of related scientific and research fields, with the aim of providing an innovative service to students, to be a model for the rest of the workshops to be held in Africa. It is implemented in ten African countries, within the framework of the Chinese state's pursuit of economic development, which is based on joint cooperation with the other and benefiting from all experiences and expertise.

Le Pen's workshop at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University includes workshops for cars, energy, and computer-managed machines in order to train students of the mechatronics, energy and automobile departments in the faculty and the faculties of engineering in Egyptian universities, where the student obtains a certificate of practical experience approved by the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University and Le Pen's workshop.
