The Department of Communication and Media Sciences at the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University concluded the activities of arbitration for graduation projects, and media and press production for students of the department for the year 2022”, which lasted for three days, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, under the supervision and coordination of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zaid, head of the Department of Communication and Media Sciences at the faculty and director of the media center at the university, in the presence and technical supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, professor of media and head of the media sector committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of a large number of press and media experts and professors of specialization.

Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid said that the judging committees evaluated 14 works for the Public Relations Division, 14 works for the Radio and Television Division, and also judged two journals of the Press Division, one of which is public and bears the title: “Al Qahwa” and the other is specialized on youth, titled: “Another Brain.”

While the public relations projects dealt with media, advertising, and promotional campaigns on modern ideas under the title: (The circle - balance detection - Sina phase - evenly - hands - tafwela - exit sign - second teams - art of zein - champions "m" - blue gold - Monli - Scoop - the story for her and Shane.

As the Radio and Television Division, it presented radio programs and documentaries, and films with the titles: (a bitter laugh - realistic but - beyond the scale - stories of hope - the taste - the devil's game - a symphony from the depths - trace - cadre - treasures - seventh grandfather - tin - day - and finally a movie Sixth Earth.

The head of the department also emphasized the representation of project ideas for all issues and topics of interest to the Egyptian society (social - national - economic - scientific - heritage - artistic - introducing archaeological treasures and promoting tourist attractions and activities.

The jury and evaluation committees set grades to determine the first positions according to the agreed evaluation rules for the various artistic templates, and the names of the winning projects of the Creativity Award and the first positions will be announced during the department’s annual media production festival to be held after the end of the second semester exams, in the presence of university leaders, senior media professionals, and art celebrities. and culture.

The experts commended the effort, accuracy, and professionalism that reflects the quality of the practical training in the faculty.

The students also received distinguished offers for training in major media institutions, as well as tips on how to develop and adapt their scientific and practical capabilities to match the labor market and achieve leadership in the field of media work.
