The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University organizes a comprehensive development convoy in Qena Governorate (Kom El-Dabaa village, Nakada Center), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini, President of the University, and Major General Pilot Ashraf Gharib Daoudi, Governor of Qena, headed by Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Shahera Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, from 22 to 25 November.
Mr. Suhail Hamza explained that this convoy came from Ain Shams University's keenness to spread health and community awareness for all segments of society, through the participation of faculties (medicine, dentistry, nursing and the General Authority for Adult Education).
He also indicated that the convoy would provide free medical services to citizens in the specialties (orthopedics, children, nose and ear, ophthalmology, internal medicine, chest, teeth, dermatology, heart, and gynecology), in addition to providing free treatment. The convoy also provides social services by providing some assistance. In kind, as well as providing literacy and adult education services, stressing that the convoy will present many awareness campaigns with the application of all precautionary measures to prevent the “Corona” virus.
