The activities of the virtual cultural week, organized by the Cultural Relations Committee of the Graduate Studies Sector at Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, were concluded with the title "Translation and Intercultural Dialogue" under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Youmna Azmy, Rapporteur of the Cultural Committee, via videoconference

The organizing committee of the Cultural Week recommended extending bridges of communication between the Faculty of Al-Alsun and the cultural centers of the departments of foreign languages ​​that study in the Faculty to make collective translations of civilized and cultural books to consolidate cultural relations and dialogue with them. From foreign language into Arabic to become a point of distinction for the scientific department and work to confirm the role of Faculty of Al-Alsun as a legal person represented in international competitions in translation, where works translated in its name are submitted by the pens of translators from the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

         
   
         

As well as activating the role of Refaah Unit in publishing and marketing magazines and researches, provided that the winning research is published in the works of the students of the fourth year of the language departments under the supervision of specialized professors free of charge while preserving the publishing rights and taking care of the work of young translators published and distributed in the publications of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, as well as working to confirm cultural awareness of the importance of Teaching Arabic for the BA and postgraduate stages to prepare the translator to work in publishing houses in translation and verification, fulfilling the requirements of publishing and distribution houses, and supporting the encyclopedic culture of the translator, communicating with the Development and Innovation Unit to support translated works by young researchers, especially creative and applied works, to publish and support them financially in light of the university's support For innovative and creative research, working on ensuring that the libraries of scientific departments in the faculty provide translated research for the fourth year under the supervision and review of professors, and using the work of faculty members in translation to be a scientific reference in the field of translation while preserving the intellectual property rights of translators, as well as including the translation course for the purposes of publication in the postgraduate stage (Diploma / Master / PhD) for BA preparation Researchers and translators fulfilling the requirements of the publishing and distribution market in Egypt, communicating with the National Center for Translation in publishing and distributing translators' works from the Faculty, reconsidering the translation of some terms in various fields by translators from the Faculty, reconsidering methods of teaching linguistics for translation, establishing Scandinavian Languages ​​(Danish, Swedish and Norwegian) department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

         
   
         

In conclusion, the activities of the week witnessed the honoring and delivery of certificates of appreciation to all the participants in the cultural week and those in charge of it from the faculty, researchers, employees and students of the Al-Alsun choir team who presented an artistic conclusion to the cultural week with songs that reflect some of the college's languages in Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Turkish and Persian.
