The Faculty of Archaeology Organizes Activities for the “Kemet” Camp to Develop Students’ Skills and Foster Their Personal Growth
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abdeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology; and Dr. Nawal Gaber, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs; under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Shouky, Leader of the Students for Egypt Family; and Dr. Ghada Fayed, Deputy Leader of the Family; and organized by Ms. Doaa Zaki of the Faculty’s Student Welfare Administration, the activities of the “Kemet” Camp commenced on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The day’s activities included several diverse sessions and workshops, beginning with an opening session delivered by student Ahmed Mahmoud, President of the Students’ Union, and student Toka Tawfik, Senior Sister of the Students for Egypt Family, with the participation of several active members of the family at the faculty.
The opening session was followed by a session and workshop on team leadership skills and presentation skills, delivered by Leader Basel Mohamed, followed by a training session with Dr. Ghada Fayed on communication skills.
The day also featured a specialized session on artificial intelligence (AI), delivered by student Shams Mohamed, as well as a session and workshop on teamwork, delivered by student Toka Tawfik, contributing to fostering a spirit of cooperation and teamwork within the team.
This was followed by a session on public relations (PR), delivered by Leader Ibrahim Mohsen, in addition to a specialized session on archaeological documentation, delivered by student Marco Samir.
The one-day “Kemet” Camp concluded its activities as part of the Faculty Students’ Union and Students for Egypt Family’s commitment to developing students’ skills, fostering their personal growth, and enhancing their capabilities across various fields.
At the conclusion of the activities, sincere thanks and appreciation were extended to the distinguished guests and lecturers in recognition of their support and contributions to enriching the day’s activities.
