Launch of the ITI Commerce Tech Camp 2026 Summer Camp in Collaboration with the Faculty of Business

Building on the success of the Faculty of Business students’ participation in the Technology and Artificial Intelligence Skills Development Program held in May 2026, which attracted nearly 3,000 students, and through which participants were introduced to opportunities in technology and artificial intelligence across large corporations and startups, as well as emerging and highly competitive fields that continue to evolve daily—particularly for students of Business and business administration—the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, in partnership with the Information Technology Institute (ITI), announces the launch of the Summer Training Program on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

The program is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Farid Moharram El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and Dr. Heba Saleh, Chairperson of the Information Technology Institute (ITI).

The significance of this initiative stems from the rapidly evolving labor market and its growing expectations of business and commerce graduates to be proficient in modern technologies and capable of leveraging them to lead business operations within dynamic digital environments. The initiative aims to generate measurable impact in improving performance, supporting decision-making, and creating sustainable competitive value.

The program has been designed as a practical stage that bridges the gap between academic study and the workplace, enabling trainees to explore the digital dimensions of disciplines such as accounting, marketing, supply chain management, data analytics, and e-commerce. Participants will gain hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence tools, intelligent agents, the cost and value of AI applications across various models, and their impact on service delivery in terms of efficiency, accessibility, decision quality, added value, and sustainable profitability.

In addition, the program includes practical training on leading market platforms and systems such as Odoo, Oracle, and ServiceNow, along with exposure to the diverse technological requirements of organizations ranging from startups to major enterprises. This training aims to strengthen participants’ ability to understand technology, recognize its role, stay updated on emerging developments, and effectively align technological solutions with business objectives.

It is worth noting that both parties have agreed to evaluate the outcomes of the summer phase as a step toward launching a dedicated phase for faculty members. They will also explore mechanisms for making the program and its content digitally accessible to enhance dissemination and continuous updating in response to ongoing changes, benefiting learners and stakeholders across Egypt.
