Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, along with the Vice Presidents and the entire university community, extend their heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to His Excellency Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the renewal of the presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt for a new term as President of the General Conference of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), by unanimous vote of the member states, during the fifteenth session of the General Conference held in Kazan.

The President of University affirmed that this achievement reflects the distinguished international standing of the Egyptian state and the great confidence in its pioneering efforts to support joint Islamic cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture. It also embodies the success of the Egyptian vision in promoting an active presence within international and regional organizations.

His Excellency praised the sincere efforts exerted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture during the past period, which contributed to achieving this international consensus and renewing confidence in Egypt’s presidency of the General Conference. He wished Egypt continued success in maintaining its leading role at both the regional and international levels.
