The Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University is organizing a "Creativity and Business Technology" event to integrate artificial intelligence with entrepreneurship

In a pioneering step towards empowering a new generation of entrepreneurs, the Innovation and Creativity Unit at the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, is organizing a major event entitled "Creativity and Business Technology - Digital Empowerment for a Professional Future." The event will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Prof. Ali Lotfy Hall at the Faculty.

The event is being held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Farid Moharram El Garhy, Dean of the Faculty; and Prof. Marian Azer, Head of the Scientific Research, Technology, and Cybersecurity Committee at the National Council for Women. It is being supervised by Dr. Mayvel Nabil Ramsis, Director of the Innovation and Creativity Unit at the Faculty.

This exceptional step comes as part of the faculty's commitment to establishing and supporting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and linking modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, with various business fields.

The initiative aims to prepare students for the job market and keep pace with rapid digital developments by enabling them to transform their creative and abstract ideas into practical, implementable solutions, and deepening their understanding of how technology connects with real market needs to effectively contribute to addressing societal challenges.

On the agenda, the event features a key feature: an extensive panel discussion highlighting how technology can be used in entrepreneurship. This discussion will bring together a distinguished group of experts to share their practical and professional experiences with the students.

The panel of speakers for this session includes Prof. Farid Moharram El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University; Dr. Abanoub Gamal Fayek Saad, Founder and Partner of Kropsa Egypt and Extractorco, and a member of the Scientific Research Committee of the National Council for Women; Dr. Dalal Wanees Takla, Head of Business Excellence at Tamweely Financial Services; Dr. Yahya Othman, Marketing Strategist and Entrepreneur; and Eng. Ahmed Talba, Partner and Director of Partnerships and Projects at Edusofex.

In a related context, the event enjoys the support of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University, with the attendance of Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Director of the Center, and Dr. Islam Adly, Coordinator of the Innovation Unit.

To add an interactive and competitive element to the event, a student competition will be launched, focusing on employing artificial intelligence technologies to develop innovative solutions to real-world societal problems.

The competition mechanism involves tasking participating teams with presenting their projects according to a scientific methodology that illustrates the journey from idea to planning and then implementation, along with a detailed explanation of the expected impact on society.

As a culmination of these efforts, the faculty administration announced comprehensive support and valuable cash prizes for the top three winners, encouraging them to develop their ideas and transform them into real-world projects. The faculty affirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting all activities that contribute to building a generation capable of innovation and competition both locally and internationally.
