Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ali El-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals; and Prof. Hala Samir Suweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology, is organizing an awareness event to mark World Alzheimer’s Day. The event will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the University’s Network and Information Technology Center.

The event will feature memory assessments, along with health awareness sessions on Alzheimer’s disease and guidance on ways to enhance memory and stimulate brain function through healthy lifestyles and daily practices, contributing to greater public awareness of the importance of brain health and the prevention of risk factors associated with cognitive decline.

The event reflects the Faculty of Medicine’s commitment to promoting health awareness, strengthening its community role, and supporting awareness efforts related to older adults’ health and quality of life.
