On the cusp of a new digital age, and with the accelerating pace of financial innovation globally, and in line with presidential directives, the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University will launch its first international conference entitled "Innovation and Financial Technology: New Horizons for the Economy and Investment," bearing the slogan "Innovate to Lead."

This conference, which will begin on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Republican Guard House, brings together an exceptional group of ministers, bank presidents, leaders of financial and banking institutions, technology experts, and leading academics to discuss the future of financial technology and its direct impact on the national and global economy in a high-level dialogue platform that is the first of its kind for the faculty.

The conference is held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University. The conference is chaired by Prof. Farid Moharram El Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, and the conference rapporteur is Prof. Gihan Abdel Moneim Ragab, Advisor to the Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

The conference's rich agenda will address the challenges of the digital age through a number of parallel dialogue and discussion sessions covering the latest global trends.
