For the First Time at The Faculty of Business… The Launch of the “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” Competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Farid Moharram El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, the Faculty is organizing for the first time the “Entrepreneurship and Innovation: From Idea to Execution” competition. The event will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Prof. Ali Lotfy Hall at the Faculty.

Prof. Farid Moharram El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty, stated that this competition aligns with the faculty’s strategy to support innovation and entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of transforming creative ideas into real projects that contribute to national economic development. He highlighted that the competition reflects the excellence of the faculty’s students and their ability to compete in the job market.

A distinguished group of experts will attend the event, including:

Dr. Amr Hassanein (Financial Investment Expert)

Dr. Mohamed El-Farran (Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering)

Dr. Nader Ibrahim (Managing Partner at Exessential Capital)

Mr. Abdullah Al-Atrash (Co-Founder of Natrify)

The top three winners will receive comprehensive support from the “Start-Up Sync” platform to turn their ideas into real projects. The platform connects startups with investors and experts in an environment that fosters creativity.
